Upcoming Water Service Outage on December 3rd

A waterline replacement project is taking place on FM 1097 and includes the replacement of existing fire hydrants and segments of the 8-inch waterline.

The Contractor, Primoris Heavy Civil, has planned a temporary water disruption to allow for re-connection of services and connection to exiting water mains.  Service outage for 8 hours for the entire subdivision of Lakeside Place and All commercial on FM 1097 on December 3, 2025, beginning at 9 pm.

Upcoming Water Service Outage

The PAMUD is continuing with the planned program to upgrade the 50+ year old waterline infrastructure within the District.

A waterline replacement project is taking place in the Pegasus/Lyra/Taurus vicinity and includes the replacement of existing fire hydrants and segments of the 8-inch waterline.

The Contractor, Bull-G Construction, has planned a temporary water disruption to allow for re-connection of services and connection to exiting water mains.  Service outage (5 to 8 hours) for areas shown in yellow on attached map is scheduled for November 3, 2025, beginning at 9 am.   An additional outage will also take place for some or all of the same homes on November 6th.

Notice of Public Hearing on Tax Rate: September 16, 2025

A public hearing on the proposed 2025 tax rate for Point Aquarius Municipal Utility District (MUD) will be held on September 16, 2025, at 5:00 PM.

The hearing will be held in a hybrid format:

The proposed tax rate would increase the total rate from $0.4765 to $0.5100 per $100 of value. For the average homestead, this would result in a proposed annual tax increase of $245.88.

The District has implemented a text alert system for the residents of Point Aquarius Municipal Utility District. This system is designed to keep you informed of issues related to the District in a quick and timely manner. You may receive messages in text alert format related to the water service in the District, drainage and sewer related topics, and other news that is relevant to the District.

Text message notifications will contain a short amount of information with a link back to the District’s website where the remainder of the information can be viewed.
